Cedar City Trip

So last weekend we made the journey to the exciting city of Cedar, UT... Mike's older brother Jon and his wife graduated from SUU. Of course we all wanted to support them, so we made the trip. Mike and I waited until about 8:30 Friday night to leave Salt Lake so that Coop would sleep in the car. We didn't get to Cedar until 1 AM!!! Saturday morning we were up at 7:30 getting ready for the graduation. Their graduations were at the same time, so we could only go to Jon's. We met up with Ashton and her family after for pictures and lunch. Then we headed to Hurrican to help them move. Yep, that's right. They always have to move at the worst times. They moved the day we got married and the day they graduated. Poor kids! After helping them move, we headed to the local dairy queen for a treat. We left Hurricane about 4 and got to Salt Lake about 9. We were glad we could be there, but wished it was a longer trip. Out of the 24 hours we were gone about 10 was spent in the car. We spent more time packing, unpacking and driving than we did at our destination. :)
